An exhibition by the Irwell Valley Mining Project, Salford's last pit: Agecroft Colliery and the Great Miners' Strike, thirty years on opens at 2.00pm on Tuesday 13 January – all are welcome. Drop in any time Wednesdays to Fridays, 1.00pm to 5.00pm to see the exhibition, and the ground floor display area.
The Library is changing its Saturday opening for 2015 and is now open on the first Saturday of every month, 10.00am to 4.00pm.
