Atria, Institute on Gender Equality and Women’s History, would like to remind you that in two weeks time, on 3 and 4 December, Atria will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Collection IAV with a special international conference on archiving. Featuring speakers from South Africa, the United States, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany and Serbia. The conference will shed light on the history and emergence of women’s archives, discuss contemporary challenges and present future visions. Speakers will reflect on the meaning and importance of preserving women’s history within various geopolitical settings.
We are delighted to say that beyond the wide assortment of speakers, people from 21 different countries have registered for the conference, including individuals from Japan, Iceland and Pakistan. There are still opportunities to enroll either for 3 and 4 December. Please note that students get an additional 50% discount on their entrance fee.
