Ann: Kenny Prize Lecture 2007

Announcement: 2007 Kenny Prize Lecture, Wednesday, May 2nd, 4pm, University of Toronto

This year the Robert S. Kenny prize for outstanding work in the field of Marxist and labour/left studies has been awarded to Faith Johnston for her book A Great Restlessness-The Life and Politics of Dorise Nielsen published by the University of Manitoba Press.

The author will be presented with her prize, and will deliver the annual Kenny lecture, in the 2nd Floor auditorium of the Claude T. Bissell Building (Faculty of Information Studies), 140 St. George Street, on the main campus of the University of Toronto at 4pm, Wednesday May 2nd. The talk is entitled "The Communists, the CCF, and the Popular Front" and there will be ample opportunity to ask questions and make comments afterwards.
