General Framework and Rationale
European Labour History Network (ELHN), Working Group "Workers, Labour and Labour History in Modern Central-East-Europe”
the Second EHLN Conference will be held in Paris next year (2nd-4th November 2017). Within this context, the ELHN Working Group "Feminist Labour History" is entitled to propose thematic sessions. Potential topics, related to the activity of the Feminist Labour History WG, include the following:
· the intersection of class, race, gender, global inequality, etc. in all thematic areas of labour history
· the global gendered division of labour
· the historical engendering of various types and forms of labour
The European Labour History Network (ELHN) is pleased to announce its first conference from 14-16 December 2015 at the University of Turin facilitated and hosted by Stefano Musso (President of the Società Italiana di Storia del lavoro/SISLav – Italian Society of Labour History) in collaboration with ISMEL-Torino.
