Project E04 “Threat Communication, Coping and Stock Market Speculation. Bull Markets, Crashes and Knowledge” (18th-19th Century)” of the CRC 923 “Threatened Orders – Societies under Stress” invites proposals for papers to be presented at a virtual workshop on 29 and 30 October 2020.

Global Visions on Cities and Historical Pandemics in the 20th Century

Epidemic Urbanism Initiative (EUI), founded by Mohammad Gharipour and Caitlin DeClercq, presents “Global Visions on Cities and Historical Pandemics in the 20th Century.” This symposium is being organized as part of GAHTC’s annual event and will be held 1-3pm US Eastern Time on Friday, July 24, 2020. The following conversations comprising this event will be moderated by Dr. Mehreen Chida-Razvi (Nasser Khalili Collections, London) and Dr. Fariba Zarinebaf (Uni. of California, Riverside).

Elle veut ainsi honorer la mémoire de Francis Blanchard, ancien Directeur Général (1974-1989) du BIT (Bureau International du Travail) et l'un des membres fondateurs de l'AFOIT.

L’APHG, l’AFHMT et la Revue d’histoire du XIXe siècle ont le plaisir de vous inviter à une journée d’étude dans le cadre de la préparation de la question d’histoire contemporaine pour la session 2021 du Capes et de l’agrégation : « Le travail en Europe occidentale des années 1830 aux années 1930. Mains-d’oeuvre artisanales et industrielles, pratiques et questions sociales. » Sous couvert de modifications éventuelles dont nous vous ferons part, celle-ci devrait se dérouler à l’Université de Nanterre, le samedi 17 octobre 2020.
