From 1995 to 2009, Manchester Metropolitan University hosted a series of very successful annual international conferences on 'Alternative Futures and Popular Protest'.

We're very happy to announce that the Fifteenth AF&PP Conference will be held, between Monday 29th March and Wednesday 31st March 2010.

Call for papers: political tourism

Swedish Arbetarhistoria and Danish Arbejderhistorie are planning a joint issue on political tourism to be published in 2011.

An international workshop to be held in Göttingen from the 24th to the 26th of June 2010. This is the first of a series of annual workshops that will be organised by the small team of social historians at the newly founded Centre for Modern Indian Studies. We'd be grateful if you responded to this CfP and/or circulated it among colleagues who might be interested.
